About Me and This Blog

Hi everyone. Before I get cracking, I would like to introduce myself and what this blog is about.

My name is Darya Shirobokova (but you can refer to me as Dasha) and I am writing a blog on an interesting book I came across while working on an essay at university. The book is called How to Win Friends and Influence People In the Digital Age by Dale Carnegie. Two out of ten people I know have heard or read the book, but the information provided in it is important for all ten people to know.

My purpose is to inform people from different circles of life such as students, bosses, friends, colleagues, bloggers, families, businesses- so mostly everyone. The information provided is manditory for everyone to know in the digital age.

As we are living in a world were digital communication is become common is everyday relationships, be they bussiness or casual, we are getting more confused of what to say and how to say things online, over the phone or texts. But, this book brings to light all these problems, and solves them for you. The book teaches you how to communicate properly online so that you are reflecting yourself through your words, and to believe that what you are saying may effects others. That these words are interpretated the same way as through they were said to someone directly. Although there may be boudaries such as trying to transmit humour or sadness clearly, there still are plenty of things which can be considered for digital communication.

You will be able to apply the lessons taught by Carnegie in your everyday contact and see how the wold around you begins to change. Your worries and fears of communicating through mobile phones and laptops will dinsitegrate. You will gain power over social media platforms, and not let them gain power over you.

Also, please comment on anything you may find
interesting, but please remember this:

This blog is for you guys, so share your experiences and findings. Hopefully, we will all learn the positive factors of online communication, instead of sharing useless junk which overpopulates the internet and creates an overflow of information.
